Nowadays, many customers have made the choice to change from
baler twine to net, to wrap their bales and are often confronted
by many choices.
Traditional, 'standard', white netwrap is unable to cover
the bale fully, leaving the outside edges exposed and
un-protected.
Tama's exclusive CoverEdge™ netwrap has
changed all of that. The net protects the entire rounded surface
of the bale, plus it wraps over the edge of the bale. This unique
ability gives much added protection to the most vulnerable area
of the bale - on and over the edge of the bale.
Since so much of the volume of the bale is contained in the outer
layer, this added protection 'over the edge' saves
significant quantities of the valuable crop.
Tama's unique CoverEdge™ technology
offers unbeatable protection that goes beyond anything else
available in the market.
Most conventional netwraps claim to cover the full width of the
bale, but in reality leave the bale exposed by between 10 and 15
cm on either side. This uncovered crop can serve as an open
avenue for rainwater and ground moisture which can penetrate the
bale interior and cause spoilage. Tama’s CoverEdge™
goes over the edge of the bale for better protection. With the
elimination of shoulders, perfectly shaped bales are easier to
transport, better for storage. When you make silage with
CoverEdge™ netwrap, the perfect edges mean that no air will
be trapped within the bale giving less chance of spoilage when
wrapped. If it’s worth baling, it’s worth
CoverEdge™ netwrap.
Unlike conventional netwrap, CoverEdge™ is made by a very
different process. It’s manufactured by an exclusive
knitting process that allows it to widen and drop over the edge
of the bale during wrapping. The outside strand on each side is
made by a separate process that allows it to stretch. The
bale’s edges are no longer ragged and exposed to the
elements. Bales stay drier with CoverEdge™ netwrap. If you
pull the outside strand, it will snap right back into place,
securing the crop and giving total protection.
CoverEdge™ netwrap covers
15% more surface area of the round bale
than any other product or brand of netting.
CoverEdge™
netwrap protects the edges of the
bale and prevents rainwater penetration and moisture collection within the bale.
CoverEdge™
goes over the edge of the bale to imporve the weatherability of
the package. No loose "fluff" to wick up the moisture
from rainfall behind package. Smooth edges hold crop tight to the
bale surface. CoverEdge™ netwrap
produces high-quality silage bales when wrapped with stretch film
because the bale surface is smooth, eliminating air pockets in
the bale.
CoverEdge™
stores better in all weather conditions because the end of the
bale "snugs" up tight to the next bale, minimising the
potential for water to "trickle" down the side of the
bale.
Red End Warning
Indicates the last 70m. of each roll, with the
appearance of the red stripe warning of roll end.
Carry Handles with easy opening
It is always recommend that a minimum of two people
handle rolls when re-loading new rolls into the baler.
Exclusive Zebra® System
Shows the operator how to install the netting in
the baler. Wide Striping is always on the right-hand
side. Shows the operator which direction to pick up
the bale for easy unrolling when feeding the bale.
It is always recommend that a minimum of two people
handle rolls when re-loading new rolls into the baler.
Pallet Cradles
All rolls on the pallet are securely held in purpose-designed cradles. These reduce risk of rolls moving about during transportation and also makes breaking pallets down easier and safer.
