1913.... Business established by August Claas at Clarholz, Westphalia

1921.... First CLAAS patent for a knotter for efficient straw binding

1934.... Manufacture of the first pick-up baler

1962.... Production starts at the new baler factory at Metz, France

1976.... ROLLANT, the first CLAAS round baler

1988.... QUADRANT, the first CLAAS large-square baler

Over 80 years history in the field of Harvest machinery products and innovators in the field of square and round balers, Claas patented the original round baler using netwrap as an option to baler twines.

With this vast knowledge and experience, Claas realize the importance of working with products that can enhance the performance of its Baler range and, more recently, Combination Baler and Wrapper.
